Based in Paris, Elise Massoni is, first and foremost, a DJ and producer with a distinct style and flawless skills. Her strong selection of techno, drawing inspiration from the past while embracing the future, has propelled her to prominence as a rising star in the French techno scene.

Emerging from a background in classical guitar and a deep immersion in various electronic music genres from an early age, Massoni's musical journey is as diverse as it is compelling. Initially influenced by the house and electro scenes of Detroit and Chicago, her selection reflects this foundation, blending groove and soul into the intensity of her sets. From her explorations of the experimental scenes in Shanghai to her formative experiences in numerous clubs, her path has been a colorful tapestry of musical adventures. It was her unwavering devotion to DJing, her initial passion, that paved the way for a natural progression into the world of production, solidifying a lasting relationship with the craft.

With her unique ability to bridge the divide between ardent non-techno enthusiasts and purists, Elise commands a magnetic presence, focusing on harmonies and intensity to weave a narrative reflective of the diversity she embodies. Her approach to interpretation has always been grounded in the belief that "feelings come first."

Her distinctive style has graced renowned venues such as Berghain Berlin, Radion Amsterdam, Fabric London, RSO Berlin, and Possession, leaving an indelible mark with her exceptional performances. Since 2018, her monthly residency on Rinse France has not only provided a platform to share her musical odyssey but also to spotlight fellow artists resonating with her eclectic influences.

Beyond her DJ talent, Elise Massoni shines as a versatile producer, adept at weaving multifaceted musical styles. From her soulful breakbeat debut to her more experimental creations, notably the "junglish ovni" *Silk*, Elise has already established herself as an accomplished and diverse producer. Her works have found a home in respected labels such as XXLAB, Mama Told Ya, TemeT, Man Band, and more, garnering support from key industry figures. Notably, VTSS highlighted her track "10ft CHAOS" in her electrifying Dekmantel Boiler Room set, further solidifying Massoni's imprint in the realm of electronic music.

Last year, Elise Massoni released her third EP under the banner of XXLAB. This highly anticipated record showcases seven distinctive tracks seamlessly oscillating between infectious dance-floor hits and introspective ballads, all enhanced by Elise's captivating vocals.
